Unsere Idee
Wir sind beide schon lange beruflich oder freiberuflich im Bereich der Textilbearbeitung unterwegs. Inzwischen arbeiten wir in einzelnen Projekten daran, die Wertschätzung von Stoffen und Kleidung zu fördern und einen nachhaltigen Blick auf Herstellungs- und Bearbeitungsprozesse im Textilbereich möglich zu machen.
Mit Textilwirken möchten wir ein Projekt ins Leben rufen, dass den nachhaltigen Umgang mit Kleidung und Ressourcen fördert. Neben einer kulturgeschichtlichen Betrachtung von Kleidung, werden in praktischen Verfahren Fasern und Materialien verglichen. Es wird gesponnen, gewebt und genäht. Dabei wollen wir das Bewusstsein für einen nachhaltigen Blick auf die Qualität von Rohstoffen und Herstellungsprozessen schärfen.

Our Idea
We have both been working for many years, professionally or freelance, in the field of textile processing. Meanwhile, we work on individual projects to promote the appreciation of fabrics and clothing and to enable a sustainable perspective of production and processing methods in the textile sector.
At Textilwirken we want to launch a project that promotes the sustainable handling of clothing and resources. Beside of a cultural-historical examination of clothing, fibers and materials are compared using practical methods. Spinning, weaving, and sewing will be carried out. Thus, we want to raise awareness for a sustainable perspective on the quality of raw materials and production processes.
Together with our regional cooperation partners, we can bring our ideas to life — and for that we say thank you!

Notre idée
Nous travaillons toutes les deux depuis de nombreuses années, professionnellement ou en tant qu’indépendantes, dans le domaine du traitement textile. Actuellement, au travers des projets individuels, nous œuvrons à promouvoir l’appréciation des tissus et des vêtements et à permettre une vision durable des processus de fabrication et de transformation dans le secteur textile.
Chez Textilwirken, nous souhaitons lancer un projet qui promeut une utilisation durable des vêtements et des ressources. En plus d’un regard historico-culturel sur l’habillement, des fibres et des matériaux sont comparés à l’aide de méthodes pratiques. On y filera, tissera et coudra. Nous souhaitons ainsi sensibiliser à une vision durable de la qualité des matières premières et des processus de fabrication.
